1. Mix three tablespoons of tomato juice and one teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply this mixture to the face. Leave for 20 mins and rinse with water. It helps to make the skin soft and glowing.
  2. Cucumbers work as astringents and cool the skin. They also lightens the skin tone. Rub skin with a little cucumber juice, leave for 20 minutes and wash away. It acts as an anti-tan pack, lightens freckles and lessens wrinkles.
  3. Add some jasmine flowers in hot water for some time. After the water gets cooled, wash the face with it to remove dead cells and give a fresh glow to the skin.
  4. Mix one tablespoon of groundnut oil with one tablespoon of fresh lime juice, apply to face, massage gently and wash off after 20 minutes. It helps in preventing formation of blackheads and acne.
  5. Yoghurt (better make it in the old fashioned way at home) is a wonderful skin cleanser. It can be used to massage all skin types. Helps to treat from sunburn and gives a beautiful glow to the skin.
  6. Take equal quantities of turmeric powder and wheat flour and make a paste with sesame oil. Apply it to the face. Massage lightly and leave it on face for some time. It helps in reducing unwanted hair apart from removing dead cells and making skin fresh, soft and glowing.
